The model has fully functional doors, steering wheel, spoiler, an independent suspension, a modular chassis, an opening hood, working steering, an eight-speed sequential gearbox and even a rotary display inside the cabin, exactly like in the original vehicle.

The author of Charbel's LEGO TECHNIC Creations channel showed how a large-scale copy of the McLaren 720S can be assembled from the Lego Technic set. It took him two years to build the model.
The build quality of the McLaren model closely resembles LEGO® branded sets. For example, transformable into a Lancia Stratos Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS. And the long time spent on the construction is explained only by the lack of instructions and the actual adjustment of the LEGO® elements to each other.
The coupe, made on a 1:8 scale, received butterfly-style lifting doors, an active rear wing, independent suspension, a modular chassis, an opening hood, working steering, an eight-speed sequential gearbox and even a rotary display in the cabin, like in the original vehicle. Over the next two months, the author of the project promises to release instructions for assembling such a vehicle.
One of the most sophisticated Technic Series sets consists of 3,599 parts. It is a Bugatti Chiron hypercar model with an active rear wing, low-profile rubber wheels, a detailed cockpit with movable gearshift paddles, and a W16 engine with moving pistons.
