New additions to the LEGO Art series: Jim Lee's Batman and Elvis Presley
Share
A series of brick paintings from the LEGO "Art" series will receive its first additions in 2022. One of the main superheroes of our time and the face of DC comics, Batman gets his personal set! This art is perhaps the best and highest quality in the series. And in addition to pictures of the Beatles and Marilyn Monroe, we get King Elvis Presley!
31205 Jim Lee Batman Collection
Incredible, in its coolness, the set will appear on the shelves as early as March 1, 2022. Based on images of the Batman by artist Jim Lee. The kit consists of 4167 parts and will cost the standard price for kits in this series: $120 USD.
From one brick painting it will be possible to recreate three portraits to choose from: Batman, Joker or Harley Quinn. Each painting comes with Jim Lee's autograph on a printed, special part.
For true LEGO fans and Batman fans in particular, I have good news and bad news at the same time. From two paintings, you can assemble a medium-sized panel with a scene of romantic relations between Bats and Catwoman, and from three sets, a whole figure of the protagonist of the comics comes together to the waist! Thus, in order to collect all five different paintings and assemble a set, you will need to buy this set 8 times.
31204: Elvis Presley
Last year there were rumours that the king of rock and roll will appear in the Art series and will be almost the biggest set in history, moving the World Map of its pedestal. But the miracle of miracles did not happen. We see a rather "modest" set of 3445 parts, but the price of the set has not yet been announced, but it makes no sense to hope that it will be cheaper than even the previous one (despite the difference of more than 600 parts).
Owners of one copy of the set can choose from three portraits of Elvis, which are iconic images of the singer.
If you buy a set three times, then it becomes possible to create the King of Elvis Presley with a guitar on a very beautiful background. Thus, in order to collect all the options at the same time, you will have to buy a set 6 times!
The Lego Art series is a real art, and a wonderful object that can attract attention. The sets of this series are a source of a large number of colourful and useful parts from which you can collect many of your own, unique paintings and mosaics.
LEGO "ART" sets are great fun for adult collectors and hobbyists alike. The assembly pacifies and soothes, and the result pleases. Ideal as an unusual gift.
