Every spring, people from all over the world come to Japan to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms, also known as Sakura. However, in the short period of flowering of wild cherries, not everyone has time to do this, wishing that this period could last longer. However, there is one tree that blooms all year round - completely made of LEGO® bricks, this sculpture was created in honor of the first anniversary of the theme park LEGOLAND Japan.
With a height of 4.38 meters, a length of 5.42 meters and a width of 4.93 meters, this incredible piece of art weighing 3.333 kg set a new Guinness World Record as “the largest LEGO® brick cherry blossom tree”.
Originally built in the Czech Republic at the LEGO® factory and shipped to Japan, this cherry tree consists of 881,470 bricks, and its construction took more than 6,500 hours.
An impressive sculpture of the tree growing on green grass, with large branches and a bright, pink flowering crown, as well as with LEGO® lamps that illuminate it at night.
