Refund policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your building kit. If something isn't right, we are here to help. Please review our complete cancellation, return, and refund policies below.
1. Order Cancellations
You can cancel your order for a full refund as long as it is still in the "processing" status.
If your order has already been packed or dispatched, you may still cancel it; however, a $25 administration fee and the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the costs already incurred by the warehouse.
2. Standard 14-Day Returns
If you change your mind, you have 14 calendar days from the date your item is delivered to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused, unopened, and in the exact condition you received it.
- In its original, undamaged packaging.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Contact our team first at info (at) laminifigs.com to initiate the return process and receive the correct return warehouse address. We highly recommend sending us a photo of the item's condition to avoid any disputes.
3. Return & Exchange Fees
Unless the item arrived faulty or damaged, the buyer is responsible for standard return costs. If you are returning an item for a refund, the following will be deducted from your total:
- Return Shipping Costs: You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return the item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Handling Fee: A 5% handling fee based on the retail price of the item (before discounts) will be applied.
If you are exchanging an item for a different one, you will be responsible for any price difference between the items and the shipping costs to dispatch the new item.
4. Refunds & Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.
Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company. It often takes 3-5 business days for bank processing before a refund is officially posted.
Non-returnable items: Gift cards and clearance/sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or missing parts due to our error. If you receive a faulty item, we will happily replace it or refund you completely (including delivery charges). Please contact our customer service team immediately so we can make it right!
Missing or Stolen Parcels
At LAminifigs, we prioritize the safe delivery of your orders. However, we cannot assume financial responsibility for packages that are stolen or go missing after the carrier has marked them as "Delivered" to your address.
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot find your package, please take the following steps:
- Check the premises: Look around your porch, side doors, or check with neighbors to see if it was misdelivered.
- Contact the Carrier: Reach out directly to the final-mile carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) with your tracking number. They can check GPS coordinates of where the driver left the box.
- File a Claim: If the carrier confirms the package was stolen, you may need to file a police report and open a claim with the carrier or your homeowner's/renter's insurance.
