The famous Danish company LEGO® carefully monitors modern technological trends and even manages to make fun at the manufacturers of electronic gadgets.
The famous company LEGO® has not left without attention the announcements of Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X smartphones, which are equipped with folding screens. The company introduced a “tablet” called Lego Pop Up Book (21315). Of course, there is no electronic filling in this building set, however the price is only 70 dollars. At the same time, LEGO® says that LEGO® Pop Up Book will never run out of battery power, which the building set simply does not have. However, the developers admitted that their device loses the Samsung Galaxy Fold in the assembly materials, since the Korean smartphone is made of an aluminium case, and the Danish “gadget” is made of plastic.
When folded, the book-shaped building set has a diagonal of 5 inches, and in unfolded you get a field for playing with a diagonal of 11 inches. This building set consists of 859 pieces and it will definitely find its customers, among which will probably be the future owners of Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
With this set LEGO® hinted that many of the modern gadgets are just trying to be involved in the trend, which may even be not necessary for the users.
