LEGO Gold Brick

What gift can you give to a person who has everything? Of course, the Golden Lego brick.
An unusual tradition appeared back in 1979 in the German LEGO factory - employees who worked for more than a quarter of a century in production were awarded with LEGO brick. The brick was quite small in size, only 2 by 4, but made of pure gold. Such an unusual gift was received by only two factory employees and several important business partners. In 1981, the unusual gift was cancelled.
Recently, in one online store, the last surviving Lego gold brick appeared. The lot was valued at $ 15,000 USD. The original packaging of 1979 with the company logo has been preserved. The last gold lego brick is called Brick Envy. It was bought by an unknown collector. Brick Envy is suitable for any LEGO building set.
