The set, which will include the iconic Cullen house along with minifigures of the main characters, is expected to retail for approximately $219.99 (USD), €219.99 (EUR), and £199.99 (GBP).
Twilight Set: From LEGO Ideas to Reality
The Twilight-inspired set was a standout winner in the LEGO Ideas competition, amassing over 10,000 votes. Following the overwhelming fan support, LEGO confirmed the creation of a building set based on the beloved romantic fantasy film series. Initially teased in late 2023, the set will officially launch on February 1, 2025.
Twilight Surge in Popularity: Memes, Memes, and More Memes
Interestingly, the Twilight saga saw a resurgence in popularity in the fall of 2024. Fans flooded social media with nostalgic posts about Edward and Bella’s tumultuous love story, while countless memes celebrating iconic moments from the films went viral. This unexpected wave of Twilight fever prompted LEGO to speed up production and keep the momentum going.
The Cullen House Set: Features & Details
The upcoming Twilight: The Cullen House set is a tribute to the Cullen family’s unique and hauntingly beautiful mansion. Designed by Nick Michaels (also known as LobsterThermidor), the set includes all the key characters from the Twilight saga—Edward, Bella, Jacob, and, of course, the rest of the Cullen family. A unique feature is that Jacob will also be available in his werewolf form.
The set is packed with memorable references from the films, including Edward's piano, a Cullen graduation poster, a baseball bat and glove, and the curious omission of any beds—perhaps a nod to the family’s unconventional lifestyle. Michaels, despite being relatively new to the LEGO community, has quickly gained recognition for his expertise and attention to detail. His thoughtful approach to design ensures that Twilight fans will find plenty of hidden gems throughout the set.
When Can You Get It?
The Twilight: The Cullen House LEGO set will officially launch on February 1, 2025. With the Twilight franchise still stirring up passionate discussions across social media, this new set promises to be a must-have for both LEGO collectors and Twilight enthusiasts alike.
