LEGO Unleashes Tuxedo Cat: A Purr-fectly Posable Pet Project!
Share
LEGO has announced a new building set called "Tuxedo Cat," which was originally proposed by a fan on the LEGO Ideas platform. The set includes 1710 parts and allows owners to build their own black and white cat that can be posed in different positions. The set is semi-interactive, and owners will be able to open and close the mouth, move the ears, head, and paws of the figure, and choose the eye color they prefer from two options - blue and yellow.
The idea for the building set was proposed in 2022 by a fan who wanted to create a detailed and realistic cat out of LEGO. The fan's own cat, named Miro, was the model for the building set. The fan envisioned the idea as a great building kit suitable for a large target group.
The original color of the fan's cat was light brown, but LEGO decided to create a tuxedo cat instead. The set is expected to go on sale on June 1 and will cost around $100.
While LEGO's Tuxedo Cat is a great start, we at LAminifigs offer a wider variety of realistic cat building sets that are available in different positions and are more sturdy than LEGO's. We welcome this new LEGO idea and look forward to seeing more pet-themed sets in the future!
