Lego fans and Sonic lovers, get ready to jump for joy because Lego has just introduced some awesome new additions to the Sonic-themed collection! Guess what? Shadow and Knuckles, two super cool characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog world, are getting their very own Lego sets called BrickHeadz. They're joining Lego's ever-growing lineup inspired by the fantastic video game franchise.
Sonic's adventure with LEGO Ideas started when a fan sent in a fantastic idea, and now it's growing really fast! Lego recently announced that Shadow and Knuckles will be part of the BrickHeadz family, following the release of their own Lego sets in late 2023 and on February 1st, 2024.
BrickHeadz is a special series that turns amazing characters into Lego sets, and now they're bringing the mysterious Shadow and the determined Knuckles the Echidna to life! And guess what? Sonic and Tails have their very own BrickHeadz sets too, and you can buy them separately.
But wait, there's a twist with Shadow and Knuckles' BrickHeadz release! Lego decided to have them together in one set, so if you want both characters, you need to get the combined set for $19.99. It has 298 pieces, making it not too big and not too small—a perfect start for young Sonic Lego fans.
Lego is showing how much they love Sonic by adding more and more to their Sonic-themed collection. Sonic and Tails were just the beginning, and now with Shadow and Knuckles, Lego is reaching out to even more Sonic fans.
And here's something super exciting! Lego is making big announcements and releasing new products, like the Knuckles Guardian set, available now. You can also grab the X-Men's X-Jet, inspired by the awesome X-Men '97 animated series, or enjoy the Spider-Man vs. Sandman set, recreating the epic battle from Spider-Man: No Way Home—all made of Lego bricks!
Lego chose to focus on Shadow and Knuckles for a reason. These characters are going to be the stars in the Sonic universe this year! Knuckles will have his own spin-off, coming soon on Paramount Plus. And Sonic fans, get ready for Sonic 3, the super exciting movie hitting theaters later this year. Shadow might play a big role after his appearance in the Sonic 2 credits scene.
As Lego keeps growing the Sonic-themed collection, get ready for more surprises and fun in the world of Sonic and Lego collaborations throughout 2024. You can do it, Lego fans! The set will launch on February 1st, 2024.
