The release of LEGO's Super Mario set is scheduled for August 1

It’s hard to find someone who hasn’t played or heard of the Mario Super Brothers, one of the best-selling games in history. There are still a lot of fans of the game in which the legendary plumbers Mario and Luigi save the princess, despite the fact that the game was released back in 1985. In this regard, the LEGO® and Nintendo® companies have worked together on thematic building sets and will soon launch them on sale.
As you can see in the trailer, these will not be the most traditional building sets. In this case, the character’s figure will be equipped with small displays in the eyes and stomach, as well as a speaker. The scenery is arranged in such a way that the character will interact with them, collect virtual coins and respond to different positions. This will increase the interactivity of the building kit and contribute to the involvement of children in the game.

Together with this kit will be released and an application for a smartphone. With its help it will be more convenient to collect the constructor, as well as receive information about virtual achievements during the game. To implement these functions, the character figure is equipped with a Bluetooth sensor.

To begin with, the Starter Course kit (whose recommended retail price is $60) will be launched with two additions - the Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set ($ 100) and the Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set ($ 30). Pre-order is already available, and the start of sales is scheduled for August 1.
