Nintendo and LEGO teamed up to develop and launch the Super Mario universe building set.
Nintendo introduced an interactive set of LEGO Super Mario, with which you can build levels from the game in reality and go through them with Mario minifigure. The company describes its product as a physical counterpart to Super Mario Maker.
The set will include characters from the game, including opponents, block-bonuses and obstacles just like in video game. The figure of the main character Mario will be equipped with several screens that show the progress in the game and change the expression on his face. He will be able to collect coins, as well as take damage - everything will depend on what LEGO part the character has been attached. The goal of each level is the same as in the video game - to reach the final flag.
LEGO Super Mario interactive kits will go on sale in 2020. The official price of the set has not yet been specified. The company did not provide an exact release date yet.
