The life of dog Gracie, which was born without front legs due to a birth defect, became easier thanks to the young inventor Dylan, who has assembled a wheelchair for her from LEGO.

When Gracie was only six weeks old, the previous owners threw her into the clinic with numerous injuries, and if not for the kind-hearted veterinarians, she would not have survived at all. Happily accepted in a loving family, Gracie was as happy and playful as any puppy. But she moved, jumping on her hind legs, which is extremely inconvenient, the owners of the dog shelter wrote on a Facebook page.

Her new family was worried, as the lack of forelimbs created an incredible strain on the spine. The owners thought about buying a special wheelchair for the puppy. However, Gracie's young age and her overgrowing of standard wheelchairs required a special solution.

Then, a 12-year-old volunteer at the animal shelter Dylan came to the aid, who suggested building a wheelchair from Lego. It was a brilliant solution because, with the help of LEGO, it turned out to be easy to change the wheelchair size in accordance with the size of the growing puppy.

When the dog grew older, Dylan made some changes and improved the design by adding large wheels. And when Gracie became an adult girl, she was able to use a standard wheelchair for dogs.

Moreover, the 12-year-old Dylan, in fact, became the inventor of LEGO wheelchair for dogs. Now he is ready to apply his experience in shelters and build wheelchairs from Lego for pets in need of special care.
